Tri-County Restaurant ΓÇó This is the original Diamonds restaurant which was rebuilt after a huge fire in 1948.  The fire was so intense that both directions of traffic were stopped on Route 66 for 30 minutes.  Many travelers from the past days of Route 66 remember this restaurant as one of the best in Missouri.  Located off of Exit 252 off I-44, tel# 314-742-2508
